HOT DOGS FLAMBE!

Minor drama two nights ago at the apartment. Got home at 1-ish AM and was tappin at the computer and listening to music when this burnt hot dog smell wafts through. Huh, I thought and kept tapping because my neighbor, Brad, is a day sleeper for the most part and fixes food at night. But this burnt hot dog smell is getting thicker and thicker, and Sue, who runs the place for the landlady/slumlord, comes up and is checking for smoke. I definitely am seeing smoke through the door, so we proceed to get 911 on the phone, but before we do, Brad gets in and we open the apartment and get 500 fans running up in this place because this smoke is everywhere, and my lungs are choking choking dying! (You know, 4 out of 5 doctors recommend you breathe). So while this is going on, they're calling the fire department anyway because, hey, this smoke is very heavy and isn't leaving by itself, it needs pushed and shoved ant intimidated. So, while this is going on, my lungs are tightening up from the smoke and I need to get out of there before the Fire department comes in with their wind machines. So I go to the oh so convenient Wally World-Mart (Open 24 hours!) and wander a bit until my lungs feel better and give enough time for the FD to do their thang. No reason for me to be there. They never look like the guys on the charity calendar anyway. They don't even go shirtless. Gee, if they got the REAL FD guys on the calendar, I might buy. WOOF.

Okay, so I wake up at like 10am as a result of the lateness, and I stay home the next morning until like 3 in the afternoon (work at 5), not like me at all, because I hatestaying home in one place. Played FFVII (At corel prison!) Forgot my hat, went to work. Had one of those Rockstar Drinks which I like because it has buku caffeine and makes my urine glow in the dark. Hey, radioactive beverages are the new Evian, didn't you know?
